What this website stores
This marketing website (playbooks.cool) sets no tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies. The only thing we store are first-party preferences, kept in your browser’s local storage on your own device:
- theme (local storage) — remembers whether you chose light or dark mode. Kept until you change it or clear your browser storage.
- locale (local storage) — remembers your language choice (English or German). Kept until you change it or clear your browser storage.
These are essential/functional settings that stay on your device. They are not used to track you, are not shared, and do not identify you. Because we set no tracking cookies, there is no cookie consent banner to click through.
Server logs
Like any website, our hosting provider processes technical request data (such as IP address, browser type, and request time) to serve pages and keep the service secure and reliable. This is not done through cookies.
The desktop application
The playbooks.cool desktop app is local-first and does not rely on advertising or analytics cookies. Where a hosted Cloud or Enterprise offering requires an authenticated session, it uses only the essential session storage needed to keep you signed in and to protect requests. If that ever changes, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent before any optional storage is used.
How to manage storage
- Clear your browser cookies and local storage at any time to reset preferences.
- Use your browser’s built-in settings to block storage entirely (this may limit some functionality, such as remembering your theme).
Third-party services
We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or retargeting services on this website. If our processors ever change in a way that affects storage, this policy and the processor list in our Privacy Policy will be updated before any rollout.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when storage behavior changes. Material updates are dated at the top of this page and, where required, trigger a fresh consent decision.
